Palm Facility Services was founded by Lance Ford and Herb Palm on a simple idea: be good people to do business with. What started as a small operation focused on supporting building owners and providing for their families grew steadily through trust, consistency, and a commitment to doing the job right.
From the beginning, the company wasn’t driven by rapid expansion, but by relationships. By showing up, following through, and taking pride in every space we served, Palm earned a reputation as a reliable partner—one that clients could count on day in and day out.
Over time, that foundation led to thoughtful growth. Services expanded, teams strengthened, and long-standing partnerships deepened across a wide range of properties. Through it all, the approach remained the same: lead with service, act with accountability, and treat every property as if it were our own.
Today, Palm Facility Services continues into its next chapter under the ownership of Matt Palm. Having built his career within the company, Matt carries forward the values that shaped Palm from the start, while investing in the people, processes, and capabilities that will define its future.

Matt Palm is the Owner of Palm Facility Services, where he leads the company with a clear focus on service, accountability, and long-term partnership. Having built his career within the organization, Matt brings a deep, firsthand understanding of the business—from operations and service delivery to client relationships and team leadership.
With more than a decade of experience in the facility services industry, Matt has held progressively responsible roles across the company, ultimately overseeing operations for millions of square feet of commercial and multifamily properties throughout the Washington metropolitan area. His hands-on experience across every facet of the business informs a leadership style grounded in practical knowledge, responsiveness, and consistent execution.
Matt is known for his commitment to doing the job right and for fostering a culture where people take pride in their work. Under his leadership, Palm Facility Services continues to operate with an ownership mentality—serving as a true partner to building owners and managers while delivering high-quality cleaning, engineering, and maintenance services.
He holds a background in business management from Valdosta State University and is certified through the Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS). Matt is also an active member of several industry organizations, reflecting his commitment to staying at the forefront of best practices and innovation in facility services.
